Eli & Samuel Terry, 30 hour time and strike wood movement pillar & scroll shelf clock, c1825
CONDITION:
Stripped mahogany veneered case with minor repairs. Veneer repair at the door lock, with the key escutcheon replaced with wood. The tips on the front skirt are broken off. Original scrolls with a minor veneer repair to the tip of one scroll. Feet are original. Tablet is a replacement. Original painted dial has some paint loss from shrinking of the wood over time. Hands are period. Finials are not original. Ht 29"
